This is a short film for a film competition "Film a poem" organized by a polish contemporary literature publishing house, Biuro Literackie to share poetry of Tadeusz Różewicz, a well known Polish poet who has also been an unofficial Noble Prize candidate for some years now. The poem illustrated by the film is titled "Gothic and Spring" ("Gotyk i Wiosna") and is an expression of the fascination for the gothic architecture surrounded by an early spring landscape. That's the essence and our main direction for shooting the film. The score and recitation was composed and performed by Damian Pielka, also known for his cooperation with Lech Janerka as well as his own music projects like Japoto band.
