Description
1938, United States: Phillip Musica commits suicide in the aftermath of the "McKesson & Robbins scandal" of 1938. Philip Musica, also known as F. Donald Coster, was a swindler whose criminal career spanned parts of three decades. Musica, a twice-convicted felon, used assumed names to conceal his true identity in taking control of the drug conpany "McKesson´s". Unwilling to face almost certain conviction and a long prison term, he locked himself in the bathroom and shot himself in the head on the morning of December 16.
