Warships ready in Cyprus to help collect Syria chemical arms The Danish vessel "Absalon" from the Royal Danish Navy and the Norwegian naval frigate "Hnoms Helge Ingstad" prepare themselves on Saturday in the Cypriot port city of Limassol in advance of a joint Danish-Norwegian operation to remove chemical warfare agents from Syria. The joint operation will include naval frigates and specialized cargo vessels from both countries. Denmark will lead the maritime operation, whereas Norway will hold the post as deputy commander.
