Argentina: high school kids tackle pollution problems At the edge of Buenos Aires, the Riachuelo, a 60 km long factory-lined river, is considered to be one of the 10 most polluted places in the world, according to a recent study by the Swiss NGO Greencross. In 2008 the supreme court required ordered the government to clean the Riachuelo, and treat all sick people living by it.
