French children bring Great War songs back to life Hundreds of military marches, popular, anti-Hun, drinking and love songs kept the French going during World War I before falling out of popular memory. Radio France has re-recorded some of these songs to mark the centenary of the start of the Great War and they will be played over the airwaves during the summer.
