Basque activist Aurore Martin to go on trial for terrorism French Basque activist Aurore Martin will be tried for terrorism on 12 January in Madrid -- where she could face ten years in prison. The 36 year old is a member of the separatist party Batasuna, described by Spain as the political wing of the separatist group ETA which was dissolved in 2013. The party was banned in Spain but remained legal in France. She will go on trial with 34 other activists. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES.
