'Queen of Katwe' star Lupita Nyong'o presents film in Uganda Lupita Nyong'o and David Oyelowo, stars of the Disney film, 'Queen of Katwe', have been speaking to the media following the Ugandan premiere of the film on Saturday. The film is based on the true story of a Ugandan chess prodigy from the Kampala slum of Katwe. The screening in Kampala was the first time that many of the Ugandan cast had seen the film. The film will be released in the UK on October 9th.
