Looting 'serious' in hurricane-hit St Martin: Dutch PM Hundreds of extra police are being sent to the Caribbean island of St Martin after reports of people breaking into shops following the devastation of Hurricane Irma, according to French and Dutch authorities. Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte says the Netherlands will be contributing to efforts to "ensure that there is food and water, but also to ensure security", saying that looting is a "serious" problem on the Dutch part of the hurricane-hit island.
