SAfrica: Overvaal school ramps up security ahead of protests Police and private security were stationed outside the Overvaal High School in Vereeniging ahead of planned marches this morning. The school has been in the spotlight since a court judgment in which found the Afrikaans medium school doesn't have the capacity to accept 50 English speaking students. This lead to several protests and stand off at the school in the last week as some unions and political parties believe the decision is racist.
