Several jailed for spoiling ballot papers in Burundi referendum Burundi looks set to adopt constitutional reforms that could allow President Pierre Nkurunziza to remain in power until 2034, with official results showing a "yes" vote winning in 14 of 18 provinces. Opposition parties have complained of massive voter intimidation. Several people were jailed for tearing up ballot papers during the voting process. IMAGES
