Stockholm metro stations showcase contemporary art The Stockholm metro has been transformed into the world's longest art gallery. Ninety of its 100 stations have modern art on display, mostly on the walls of the stations in between commercials. Exhibits change from time to time to showcase newer art and some of them are considered slightly provocative, such as Liv Stromquist's "The Night Garden" or Kolbeinn Karlsson's "Badhusdagbok". Stromquist depicts women with menstrual blood and Karlsson naked men. Both exhibitions are on display until August. IMAGES
