Description
Royal Belgian Greenhouses once again open to the public The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken open their doors to the public for two weeks. This seasonal opening gathers each year around 100.000 Belgian and foreign visitors to the colonial-era styled architectural buildings. This year the greenhouses welcome a plant grown from a tree that survived the 9/11 terror attack, offered to the Belgian King by New York's Mayor. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
