Description
Pilots retrace footsteps of Saint-Exupery in Moroccan desert French author Saint-Exupery was a pioneer aviator posted to Tarfaya in 1927, an outpost in the Moroccan desert that served as an important refuelling station for the Aeropostale aviation company linking France to its colonies in Africa. This small town, which inspired Exupery's famous novel the Little Prince, is rediscovering its aviation roots by hosting the Raid Latecoere-Aeropostale, an air rally from Toulouse to Dakar, which this year celebrates the centenary of the service.
