Last days of travelling nomad culture festival in Mauritania In Mauritania, a festival dedicated to nomadic culture, composed of Canadian and Mauritanian musicians, has been travelling through the desert for the past ten days. They've travelled by camel through the dunes from Nouakchott to the semi-nomadic camp of Ivijaren, about 100km East of the capital, where the festival ends this weekend.
