Description
France looks to set trend with internet tax bill France's minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire unveils a bill that will see the government reap 400 million euros in taxes this year from digital giants such as Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon. The so-called GAFA tax is set at a rate of 3% and will be levied on companies with digital revenues in France of at least 25 million euros. France hopes all countries in the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) soon adopt the measure. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
