Benin citizens react to controversial new parliament In Cotonou, economic capital of Benin, citizens react to the controversial swearing-in of 83 members of parliament at the start of a new term. The 28 April parliamentary elections took place with no opposition parties allowed to participate, and thus all 83 members of parliament come from the two parties allowed to take part, both allied to President Patrice Talon.
