French charity reacts after sub-standard meat scandal French charities helping some of the most deprived sectors of society are outraged after sub-standard meat was distributed to four associations (the Red Cross, the French Federation of Food Banks, the Restaurants du Cœur and the Secours Populaire) as part of a contract financed by the European Fund for the Relief of the Most Deprived (FEAD).
