Tribute to lifeboat crew members who lost their lives The president of the French ocean rescue service has paid tribute to lifeboat crew members who lost their lives during an attempted rescue in stormy conditions on Friday night. The team from the National Society of Sea Rescue (SNSM) had been attempting to help a fishing boat which was struggling in the giant swell caused by storm Miguel when their vessel capsized, killing 3 of the 7 crew members on board.
