Taiwanese protest against Chinese influence through red media Thousands of demonstrators brave the rain to protest against Chinese influence through "red media" in Taiwan. They allege that China used pro-Beijing Taiwanese businessman to buy up stakes in media outlets in order to influence the public and spread disinformation ahead of next year's elections.
