Description
Bush paintings highlight the toll on those he sent to war The toll taken on members of the American military sent to war by George W. Bush is being highlighted in paintings by the former US president at an exhibition in Washington. Command Sergeant Major Brian Flom was wounded in the face by a rocket attack in Iraq in 2007. Standing next to a painting featuring him and other military personnel, he says the exhibition has put post-traumatic stress in the public eye, giving him a "platform to show that we can deal with it and still be productive members of society."
