Senegal's leader defends LGBT record during Canada PM visit Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues his African tour in Senegal, where he met with his counterpart Macky Sall. During a press conference, the latter declares that Senegal is ready to support Canada's candidacy for a seat on the UN Security Council. Trudeau says he "talked about human rights" and that "Senegal is a country that has succeeded tremendously in showing a positive example".
