Saudi Arabia hopes for agreement between Yemeni government and Houthis Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud says he is "hopeful" about a possible agreement between the Yemeni government and the Houthi rebels. The conflict in Yemen, a poor country on the Arabian Peninsula, was triggered in 2014 by an offensive by the Houthis, who have taken over vast regions including Sana'a.
