Description
At 1,880 metres above sea level, in the imposing setting of the Austrian mountains, a troupe of mountaineering actors demonstrates the little-known exodus of thousands of European Jews to Palestine in the summer of 1947.
"There were pregnant women, the fathers carried the children on their shoulders without equipment, it is a very strong story", says actress Céline Nerbl in front of 40 spectators in the wild valley of Krimmler Achental. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
