An expert panel advising the International Olympic Committee on Covid-19 says the cases found in Tokyo 2020 means that a system of "filtering" was working. "It is expected that as we go through the different layers of filtering, we see cases coming out", Brian McCloskey explains, "if I thought all the tests we did were going to be negative, then I wouldn't bother doing the tests in the first place."
