Description
Stockshots of the Russian army's Arctic Trefoil base, the northernmost military installation in the world. Built on the Franz Josef Archipelago, deep in the Russian Arctic, this modernised base can live in autonomy for a year and a half and accommodate up to 150 soldiers and armaments including the Bastion coastal defence system. With a surface area of over 14,000 square metres, it also includes radar facilities and an airfield that can accommodate any type of aircraft. STOCKSHOTS
