Description
Angela Merkel returns for a few hours to her childhood town of Templin. Her parents moved there in 1957 from Hamburg when she was three years old, moving from the West to the East in the Soviet-occupied zone. During her visit, the German Chancellor planted a lime tree and inaugurated the construction site of a kindergarten with the mayor of the city Detlef Tabbert. IMAGES
