Iceland’s outgoing prime minister Katrin Jakobsdottir, President of the Left-Green Movement, says she is ready to lead the next government. The country votes in a general election on September 25 where a record nine parties could sit in parliament according to polls.
In an interview with AFP in Reykjavik, Jakobsdottir says "I think it's always interesting in politics to do something new and innovative". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
