Description
Barbara Gill was the 4th runner up in the Miss San Diego pageant in 1967. She saw News 8 Throwback so she thought that we might have film in our archives. She contacted us and asked if we could check. We indeed do, and not just the pageant but several events leading up to it. It begins with the announcement of the top ten finalists on February 5th. At 3:54 on April 1st, Miss San Diego 1967 is crowned--Cynthia McCabe, 18 years old. She married actor Glenn Ford in the 1970s--fun fact.
