Thousands of protesters from the left wing of Argentina's ruling party marched in Buenos Aires on Sunday to demand that the IMF debt not be repaid.
The mobilisation was called by the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, an association of women who had lost children and grandchildren to the Dirty War, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the Day of Loyalty, the workers' mobilisation of 17 October 1945, the founding day of the Peronist party.
