"We relocate the eggs depending on where the turtle laid them, if it is safe or not," explains 16-year-old Sofia, who helps turtles to hatch. However, the sea turtles must slither out of the sand into the sea on their own so that they know they were born on the Panamanian beach of Punta Chame, and will return when they need to reproduce.
