Polling stations in Nicaragua’s presidential elections closed at 6:00 pm (midnight GMT) after 11 hours of voting, and counting begins. The elections have been slammed as a "sham" by US President Joe Biden, as incumbent Daniel Ortega was assured to win after sidelining his challengers. IMAGES
