Description
"I want to give myself to France, do with me what you want." With these words, Josephine Baker joined the resistance in 1939. Soon, the artist became a liaison agent, passing coded messages in her musical scores all over Europe. She also hid weapons and resistance fighters in the many nooks and crannies of her castle in the Périgord, where today an entire room recalls this little-known past, the main reason for her upcoming induction into the Pantheon.
