"It is important for me to emphasise that it has been a great honour to serve the Republic for 10 years." says Austria's former chancellor Sebastian Kurz as he announces he is leaving politics. Kurz said he will be leaving in order to spend more time with his young child and his wife but teased "new professional projects in the new year", just weeks after he stepped down after being implicated in a corruption scandal.
