Thousands of protesters opposed to compulsory health measures against the coronavirus pandemic in Belgium march through the capital, Brussels, towards the headquarters of the European Union, chanting "Freedom!" and letting off fireworks. Prevented from reaching the EU headquarters by a barbed wire barricade and a line of riot officers, demonstrators throw fireworks and beer cans while police fire water cannons and tear gas and drones and a helicopter circle overhead.
