"We need to act and help those people," says Steve McCurry, the man behind the photo of the green-eyed "Afghan girl," who became arguably Afghanistan's most famous refugee after her portrait, taken in a Pakistan camp in the 1980s, made the cover of the National Geographic magazine. That snap is part of some 150 photos featured at the Maillol museum in Paris, which is holding the largest and most complete retrospective of the US photographer's work. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
