More than twenty years after the war in Kosovo, the question of the missing persons still haunts the minds in the former Serbian province. The war (1998-99) left some 13,000 dead, mostly ethnic Albanians, but 1,625 people are still missing. For their families who are waiting for a sign of life, the war never really ended.
