Artist Jens Galschiot, creator of the 'Pillar of Shame' statue reacts to it's dismantlement overnight by authorities in Hong Kong' The sculpture commemorates the events of Tiananmen Square. The artist decries the taking down of the statue saying 'this is the same brutal way that they have tried to kill the democracy movement' and worries about the future of Hong Kong which he believes to be 'more and more like' mainland China.
