File images of the anti-epileptic drug Depakine, as a Paris court rules that French pharmaceutical company Sanofi "committed a fault by failing to fulfill its obligation of vigilance and its obligation to inform" about the risks of the drug if taken during pregnancy. The molecule is reportedly responsible for malformations in 2,150 to 4,100 children and neurodevelopmental disorders in 16,600 to 30,400 children, according to estimates by the French National Health Insurance and the French Drug Agency (ANSM).
