At Slagelse Hospital, just an hour outside of Copenhagen, nurses in the ICU say "We know how we should treat patients. We are much better prepared". The majority of Covid patients of the region are treated in this hospital. Despite the Omicron wave, which is causing a record number of cases in the Scandinavian country, the hospital system is coping, and the people hospitalised are "often people who are not vaccinated".
