Belgian artist René Magritte's painting "L’empire des lumières" is displayed in London ahead of auction by Sotheby's with an estimate of 60 million dollars. The work is on display alongside pieces by Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, David Hockney and Banksy and other 20th and 21st century artists to be auctioned in two sales on 2 March 2022.
