Bill Browder, the investment banker who campaigned to bring about Magnitsky laws sanctioning Russia in the US and other countries, says he is calling on governments to put in place laws which would require oligarchs' intermediaries such as lawyers and accountants to disclose methods used to hide their clients' wealth. Speaking to AFP immediately after a meeting on sanctions at 10 Downing Street, Browder says Western governments should go further with sanctions against Russia, but that he already believes 'the Russian economy will face not a recession but a depression.'
