In Mostar, the tinkling of church bells mingles with the calls to prayer of imams near the emblematic Old Bridge of this divided Bosnian city. Yet this apparent harmony cannot hide the growing dissatisfaction of many Catholic Croats who feel they are being disadvantaged in the fractured Balkan country, where they have shared a political entity with Bosniak Muslims since the interethnic war in the 1990s.
