Following cases of human trafficking, the rules for the reception of Ukrainian refugees at Berlin's central station have been tightened. Volunteer hosts can no longer simply meet refugees to offer them accommodation, they must now check in with refugee reception coordinators every day and wear the correct vest in order to be correctly identified.
