Description
An often "tumultuous relationship but never a rupture". Sixty years after the signing of the Evian Accords, which put an end to the Algerian War, Naoufel Brahimi El Mili, author of "France-Algérie, 60 ans d'histoires secrètes," (France-Algeria, 60 years of secret history, Eds.) deciphers the links between the former colonial power and Algeria. "There is no longer a big brother today," says this former teacher at Sciences-Po, who believes nevertheless that, in order to turn the page once and for all, "the crimes of colonialism will have to be formally recognised" by the future French president.
