Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa visits the Portuguese island of Sao Jorge, in the Azores archipelago off the Atlantic coast.
The island is on alert after over a thousand small earthquakes recently.
“From what I have heard, it seems to me that the words to spread are serenity and tranquillity. There is no reason to enter into a situation of alarmism that is not justified today,” says the president.
