In Moldova, a country nestled between Romania and Ukraine, households from rural areas are welcoming Ukranian refugees as the state fears its resources might soon run out if the war continues. A former Soviet republic of 2.6 million inhabitants, Moldova has so far hosted more than 300,000 refugees.
