Before the war, Raisa Toporkova was an Ukrainian world champion powerlifter who came fifth place at the Tokyo Paralympics. But she had to flee her town, the occupied city of Enerhodar, where Russian attacks on Europe’s largest nuclear power facility sparked fears of a nuclear meltdown.
