Vinfast, Vietnam's first fully fledged domestic car manufacturer, plans to move from traditional cars to all-electric vehicle production from the end of 2022. It also signed a memorandum of understanding in March to invest 2 billion dollars to build an electric vehicle and battery factory in North Carolina, USA, with the capacity to produce 150 thousand vehicles a year.
