Locals and tourists hit the streets of the old city of the Cypriot capital Nicosia as the Mediterranean island begins lifting its Covid-19 restrictions. According to the Ministry of Health, people in the country are no longer required to wear a mask outdoors as of today. Vaccinated tourists will be allowed into the country without taking a Covid-19 test, while unvaccinated travellers will be required to provide a negative 24-hour antigen test or a 72-hour PCR test.
