Wading through ankle-deep in mud, residents of Mega City informal settlement of South Africa’s coastal city Durban began the arduous clean-up of the destruction left by historic flooding this week. The death toll from devastating floods in and around the South African port city of Durban passed 306, after roads and hillsides were washed away as homes collapsed.
